Orange County 4-H is launching a brand new youth leadership program for students in grades 7-12 this fall. Level Up Leadership is not your ordinary leadership program! Our goal is to empower youth to transform their communities through a “learn by doing” approach.

  • September 14, 2021 – Discovering Your Strengths
  • September 21, 2021 – Public Speaking Part 1
  • October 19, 2021 – Effective Conversations
  • October 20, 2021 – Public Speaking Part 2
  • November 9, 2021- Parliamentary Procedure
  • November 16, 2021 – Setting SMART Goals and Action Planning
  • December 14, 2021 – Mapping Your Community and Intro to GIS
  • December 21, 2021 – Being an Effective Advocate for Your Community
Students will leave the program with new skills and a service project action plan they will implement in their communities!

4-H clover logoAll sessions will be held 5:30-7:15 p.m. at the Bonnie B. Davis Environment & Agricultural 
Center located at 1020 US Hwy 70 W, Hillsborough, NC 27278. 
The registration fee of $75.00 will cover the cost of all program supplies. Students will receive a couple of great leadership books, some 4-H swag, and access to additional tools to help them continue their leadership development. A limited number of need-based scholarships are available. If interested, please let us know and we will send you a scholarship application.
To register by September 7,  log into your family profile on 4-H Online, click on your member name, click on the Events tab, click on ‘Register for New Event’, and locate Level Up Leadership. Complete and submit the online form and you’re all set. We will send parents an invoice after September 7.
