Question:

Someone asked me today about spraying Apogee once at a 10 oz/ac rate instead of twice at lower rates, do you have any data on doing that?

Jordan:

We have mostly looked at two applications at low rates. We have always used the 7.25 oz rate for the first spray when thinking we could get by with one spray. I have seldom seen one application give a consistent response in any setting. I would not apply 10 ounces. That is off label and the higher rate could cause a negative response, but I am guessing here. i think it is better to use the normal rate first and then see if there is regrowth 14-21 days later. Then you might be able to get by with a lower rate, if needed.
