Seasonal Mini Wallhanging Beginning Quilting
2 part class Wed., June 6th and 13th
$10.00 for the two Sessions

Make a 16” square banner that can be used as a wallhanging or table centerpiece. Simple quilt pattern gives beginning quilters some experience in cutting and piecing blocks. The second class will give them experience in machine quilting their wallhanging and applying binding. While the sample shows a seasonal wallhanging suitable to display for summer and patriotic holidays, using different fabrics creates a different look.__Participants may bring own fabric or purchase a kit at time of registration._____________________________________________________________________
Supplies Needed: Scissors, straight pins, thread to match fabric, quilting ruler and rotary cutter (optional)Patriotic fabric kits will be available for $5.00 when participant registers for the class. OR they may provide their own fabric._5” square fabric for center block, 6” square of fabric for star points, 1/6 yd of background fabric (white or off white in sample), ¼ yd for border and same color binding, fat quarter for back of quilt, fat quarter of flannel or very thin batting (can be purchased after class #1 to get more information on this)
