For Youth Ages 6 to 14!
Hero Camp:
June 16 – 20, 2025
Sports Camp is an action-packed program designed for young athletes to develop their skills, build teamwork, and have fun! Campers will participate in a variety of sports, including basketball, soccer, baseball, football, and more, while learning fundamental techniques from experienced coaches. Through drills, games, and friendly competitions, Sports Camp encourages fitness, confidence, and sportsmanship in a positive and energetic environment. Whether a beginner or an experience player, every camper will leave with improved skills, new friendships, and a love for the game! Transportation will be provided from Scotland Neck/Hobgood for this week. If you wish your child to be picked up, please register for the transportation ticket as well. You will receive an email with time and place of pickup closer to the camp dates.
Art Camp:
Safari Camp is a wild adventure where young explorers discover the wonders of nature and amazing animals! Campers will learn about wildlife, go no exciting scavenger hunts, and take part in fun hands-on activities like tracking animal prints and creating safari crafts. With games, outdoor exploration, and up-close encounters with nature, kids will feel like real adventurers on a journey through the wild. Plus, campers have the option to join a special field trip to the Asheboro Zoo for an additional $30, making their safari experience even more unforgettable! Get ready for a roaring good time at Safari Camp! If you wish for your child to attend the Asheboro Zoo trip planned for this camp, please make sure you register for the “Asheboro Zoo Field Trip Safari Camp” to secure their place. They will not be able to attend if they aren’t registered for the field trip as well. Transportation will be provided from Littleton this week. If you wish for your child to be picked up, please register for the transportation ticket as well. You will receive an email with time and place of pickup closer to the camp dates.

Step 1: Complete 4-HOnline Enrollment for the current year – YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND ANY CAMP WITHOUT CURRENT ENROLLMENT COMPLETED!
- Some of you have already created your 4-H’ers accounts; please make sure to update it by re-enrolling so your youths’ status is active for the current year. For our families not yet enrolled in 4-HOnline, we have some helpful resources to assist you. This is a REQUIREMENT for your child to attend 4-H Rural Life Center Summer Day Camps.

- If you are unable to complete online enrollment in special circumstances only, you may download and complete the paper form HERE.

Step 2: Register for camp and submit payment:
- Digital Option: Digital registration may be made through EventBrite. Descriptions for each camp can be found under the ticket for each camp. Payments made through Eventbrite require an additional service fee of $5.54 per camp per youth for this digital option and only accept debit and credit card payments (no check payment accepted).
- Pay by Check-Traditional Option: Mail or drop off payment with 1 1/2 page camper application form to PO Box 37, Halifax, NC 27839. (Checks and Money Orders are made Payable to “Halifax County”). Mail or drop off our Camper Application Form to PO Box 37, Halifax, NC 27839. Our hours are Monday -Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (If you are paying by check or money order, you can include this payment with the mailed Camper Application.) Legible scans of the completed Camper Application can also be emailed to cheryl_tripp@ncsu.edu
