April 21: Fire Ant Training

Are you a homeowner, a farmer, or a property manager?  You've likely had to deal with problematic fire ants.  If you are interested in getting some more information on fire ant biology and control options, please consider attending our class on April 21st from 2PM-5PM.  

With information presented by several of the world's most knowledgeable fire ant specialists, you will have the opportunity to learn management of fire ants and other ant pests through the viewing of a collaborative webinar organized by North Carolina State University, University of Georgia, University of Florida, Auburn University, and Clemson University.

Those interested may attend by coming to either:
  • The Halifax County Agricultural Center at 359 Ferrell Ln., Halifax or
  • The Northampton County Agricultural Center at 9495 NC-305, Jackson
